Unless I state otherwise, you can assume I received a free sample of the products that I review on this blog and, sometimes I also receive a gift certificate in exchange for writing an honest review. I've also begun writing sponsored posts here from time to time, but only for products that I personally believe in and endorse. Since I only agree to review those products I think I'll like, you'll find that most of these reviews are positive. I will, however, be honest regarding my opinions on reviews I choose to write, whether they are good or bad. Pinky swear.

I offer quite a few giveaways on this site, but if you win, your prize will be sent from the company offering it, not from my home. Consequently, I am not responsible for PR reps who mail your prize 4 months late (which happened once) or never mail it at all (which hasn't happened yet, fingers crossed).

Two lovely stepdaughters,
21 and 18.

One chatty daughter, 7.

One adventurous 4-year-old son.

One talented husband.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Ticket Giveaway for This Weekend's Nashville Show!

I have always loved the circus- and now as a parent, I LOVE taking my children to see it.

The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus was always my favorite- but lately with all the circus competition out there, it has gotten even better.

That's why I'm extra-excited about the latest FUNundrum show, coming to Nashville this weekend.

Here's what you can expect:

Featuring 130 performers from six continents and almost 100,000 pounds of performing elephants, cowboys, pirates and mermaids, Barnum’s FUNundrum!SM is a super-sized spectacle so massive you just can’t miss it.

This monumental, once-in-a-lifetime event celebrates the 200th anniversary of the birth of the legendary P.T. Barnum, the greatest showman on Earth, and can only be experienced at The Greatest Show On Earth®, Barnum’s living legacy.

Ringmaster Jonathan Lee Iverson invites the audience to leap aboard the Ringling Bros.® train and go on a family FUNtastic adventure to meet exotic characters and witness thrilling performances that attempt to answer Barnum’s FUNundrum!SM, “What special wonders create The Greatest Show On Earth®?”

I can't wait to see it!

Another feature of this show that I love is that ticket holders can come an hour early for the all-access Pre-show, where they can meet circus performers and learn circus tricks. This will really get my kids excited about what they're going to see.

FUNundrum will be at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena this upcoming weekend. Showtimes are:

Friday, Jan. 21 – 7 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 22 – 11 a.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 23 – 11 a.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m.

Tickets are $14 to $25, VIP tickets are $40 to $65 and Circus Celebrity tickets are $100. All seats are reserved and available at www.Ringling.com, Ticketmaster or the Bridgestone Arena box office.

The Ferrier family will be there this weekend- and one lucky Suburban Turmoil reader can win four tickets to see the show, too! To enter to win, leave a comment on this post and tell me why you'd like to go see the circus between now and Wednesday, January 19th at 11:59pm, CST. Be sure and leave your e-mail address in your comment so that I can contact you if you've won.

Good luck!

Disclosure: I received tickets to see the circus as thanks for hosting this giveaway.

My 3 year old son saw the commercial and said "I want to go to the circus!". I've been wanting to take him for a couple of years but I think this is the first year he'd really like it.

I would love to take my son and daughter - we've been waiting a long time for them to be old enough to sit through the entire thing / not be scarred by the clowns. Plus, if we win free tickets, we could spend the money on sno-cones and cotton candy!!

Would Love to win these tickets for my cousin and her family!Just last week Brandi was diagnosed with a form of cancer on her ovaries. I think this would help distract her. This is something she could do special with her 4 and 6 year olds before a very scary procedure. Please say a prayer for her anyway. Thanks!

Thank you so much for doing this, This is a totally awesome gesture of kindness.
I have a son that just turned 3yo on Christmas day that has never seen the circus. He loves the animals and all the action. I would Love to take him to the circus, but we just can't afford to this year. My wife just filed for a Chapter 13, so the funds for the Circus is not even an option. Again, thank you for doing this. danhickman@doremientertainment.com

I just got my grades back from my first semester of law school at Vandy and--trust me--I am in *great* need of cheering up. I am certain that a gaggle of juggling clowns, dancing elephants, and eating my weight in cotton candy and peanuts will do the trick.

I know I'm probably too late, but this is the first year that I cannot take my five-year-old daughter due to a divorce and losing my job. I just received my Master's though, and I'm looking for employment and I know I'll get back on my feet!

I'm looking for discounted tickets, so if you know of any other source, please let us know. Thanks so much! I love your blog...I hope you have a great time at the circus! Blessings!
