I've also begun writing sponsored posts here from time to time, but only for products that I personally believe in and endorse. Since I only agree to review those products I think I'll like, you'll find that most of these reviews are positive. I will, however, be honest regarding my opinions on reviews I choose to write, whether they are good or bad. Pinky swear.

I offer quite a few giveaways on this site, but if you win, your prize will be sent from the company offering it, not from my home. Consequently, I am not responsible for PR reps who mail your prize 4 months late (which happened once) or never mail it at all (which hasn't happened yet, fingers crossed).

New X-Men Series Premieres This Week on Nicktoons!

You probably didn't know this about me, but I'm a huge X-Men fan- Not so much of the movies as of the comic books and cartoon. I don't know, I just like the whole idea of superheroes with major flaws and issues. It makes the whole storyline so much more compelling.

Anyway, since I love the X-Men, you can bet I got my screener of the upcoming Nicktoons series, Wolverine and the X-Men. It premieres this Friday night, January 23rd, at 8pm Eastern on Nicktoons. And it is fabulous if you or your little ones love the X-Men as much as I do.

Check it out- and in the meantime, visit the series' new website here.

Two Audrey Hepburn Classics Make the Centennial Collection Cut!

I literally could not have been more excited when these two DVDs arrived in the mail a few days ago...

Two of my all-time favorite films are now Volumes 4 and 5 of the Centennial Collection (the most treasured films from Paramount's nearly 100-year history), which so far has included some really amazing movies.

Both of these DVDs come out on January 13th and both are two-disc sets that include extensive and all-new bonus features and eight-page memorabilia booklets. These DVDs are really a must-have for any Audrey Hepburn fan and I think the entire Centennial Collection is any movie fan's dream. So pre-order your copies today!

The Tudors is Out!

Here you go- the series I'm most excited about... The Tudors. In fact, Hubs and I are starting it tonight. Season one has been out for a while now and Season Two just came out on DVD. I saw a commercial promoting it today, and people, it looks HAWT. I can't wait to start watching! Hubs and I have been at a total loss since working our way through Rome, which we LOVED.

I'll tell you more about the Tudors as I watch, but I have very high hopes- This series is getting awesome reviews.

EDITED TO ADD: I am now all the way through seasons one and two of The Tudors. Personally, I loved it. Season Two is actually even better than Season One, with two standout episodes that were the best of the entire series so far. My husband didn't like it so much- Jonathan Rhys Meyers, we both believe, was horribly miscast, and that keeps the series from truly being magnificent. Some of the dialogue is frankly silly and some of the CGI-enhanced scenes are so obvious, they're funny in a bad way.

However, Hubs did watch the entire series with me, so he can't have disliked it that much! I think all the ladies out there will definitely enjoy The Tudors, and I CAN'T WAIT until Season Three comes out on DVD. This has become my go-to guilty pleasure TV series and I'm not ashamed to say it.
