Unless I state otherwise, you can assume I received a free sample of the products that I review on this blog and, sometimes I also receive a gift certificate in exchange for writing an honest review. I've also begun writing sponsored posts here from time to time, but only for products that I personally believe in and endorse. Since I only agree to review those products I think I'll like, you'll find that most of these reviews are positive. I will, however, be honest regarding my opinions on reviews I choose to write, whether they are good or bad. Pinky swear.

I offer quite a few giveaways on this site, but if you win, your prize will be sent from the company offering it, not from my home. Consequently, I am not responsible for PR reps who mail your prize 4 months late (which happened once) or never mail it at all (which hasn't happened yet, fingers crossed).

Britax Releases Blink Stroller

We all know Britax carseats are top-of-the-line- But what you might not know is that the company is now making great strollers, too.

I got to review the Blink, which combines the comfort of a deluxe stroller with the portability of an umbrella stroller. I liked it right out of the box. The polka dot pattern is really stylish, the seat is roomy and incredibly comfortable (the kids fought over who got to sit in it!), the basket underneath is a little bit behind the seat and therefore really easy to get to (that's actually a big deal, as you parents know!), it has pockets for your other stuff, and the visor is big enough to actually cover your child and includes a clear window so that you can see what the kid is up to. And the seat reclines so that your child can sleep while riding in it.

We took this stroller with us on our Chattanooga trip and it held up beautifully after lots of walking.

Additionally, it folds up to a nice, compact size, it's fairly lightweight, and it even has a strap on it so that you can carry it on your shoulder, which is pretty awesome.

The only cons we found were that we continually had difficulty opening and closing it- We've used it several times and are still trying to get the hang of that process. And once, Hubs pinched his finger pretty bad trying to close it, so you'll want to watch out for that.

It is also not as maneuverable as some other strollers I've tried and I think the wheels could be of better quality. That's not to say the maneuverability is bad (it's actually fine) or the wheels are cheap (they do the job) - just in comparison to other similarly priced strollers, this one comes in second place in these areas instead of first- light years better than Graco, not quite as awesome as my Delta Simmons Onyx.

Overall, though, I would recommend this stroller. Child comfort and portability are the two most important factors in stroller purchases for me, and this one definitely ranks high in both.

The Blink Stroller by Britax is available at major retailers everywhere.

In addition, Britax is giving away its new Chaperone carseat and stroller combo on its Facebook page. You can enter to win here.

Also, be sure and check out the Britax special promotions page, where you can learn how to get $100 off a Chaperone carrier and stroller if you buy before the end of the year.
