The Tudors is Out!

Here you go- the series I'm most excited about... The Tudors. In fact, Hubs and I are starting it tonight. Season one has been out for a while now and Season Two just came out on DVD. I saw a commercial promoting it today, and people, it looks HAWT. I can't wait to start watching! Hubs and I have been at a total loss since working our way through Rome, which we LOVED.

I'll tell you more about the Tudors as I watch, but I have very high hopes- This series is getting awesome reviews.

EDITED TO ADD: I am now all the way through seasons one and two of The Tudors. Personally, I loved it. Season Two is actually even better than Season One, with two standout episodes that were the best of the entire series so far. My husband didn't like it so much- Jonathan Rhys Meyers, we both believe, was horribly miscast, and that keeps the series from truly being magnificent. Some of the dialogue is frankly silly and some of the CGI-enhanced scenes are so obvious, they're funny in a bad way.

However, Hubs did watch the entire series with me, so he can't have disliked it that much! I think all the ladies out there will definitely enjoy The Tudors, and I CAN'T WAIT until Season Three comes out on DVD. This has become my go-to guilty pleasure TV series and I'm not ashamed to say it.
